WOW!  Pallet to Palate raises more than $50,000

This year’s Pallet to Palate celebration grossed over $50,000 in funding for the work of Food for Greater Elgin. 

Café Roma and Elgin Public House each assembled boxes of ingredients with videoed cooking instructions for a gourmet home dining experience. The boxes were filled with fresh ingredients, wine and gift cards from the sponsoring restaurants and were distributed on April 22. 

On April 26, Chef Greg Shannon of Elgin Public House hosted 45 additional guests for a gourmet, five-course, in-person dinner with wine pairings.
