Food for Greater Elgin challenges you and your school to participate in Change for Hunger!
Last year, 16 schools and businesses took the challenge, raising over $20,000. This year, our goal is to have 30 schools/companies participate. Can we count on you?
Change for Hunger is an annual fundraising campaign designed so local schools and students can get involved in the fight against hunger. From September through February, schools will challenge their students to raise $500, which will be matched by a company partner. Combined, each school/company team will raise a whooping $1000 to feed local families!
If you take the Change for Hunger Challenge, FFGE will provide tools, posters, collection jugs, and anything else we can to help make this fundraiser a success—we’ll even visit your school.
Remember, you’re never too young to make a difference: even the smallest action can make a change.
