
Food For Greater Elgin takes a holistic approach to hunger. By addressing some other factors that contribute to food insecurity we are getting to the core issues that families face as they try to put food on their tables. Our Community Resource Center provides important information and available resources through our partnership with various community organizations.

SPECIAL EXTENDED SERVICES DURING OCTOBER
Thursday, October 18th
Presence Saint Joseph Hospital will provide a FLU SHOT clinic. It is offered to adults only. The cost is $20 cash, check or for those guests who have Medicare part B.
Tuesday, October 23rd
Northern Illinois Food Bank provides consultation and enrollment for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.
Anyone may access or attend the scheduled programs and services Food For Greater Elgin offers during distribution hours throughout the month.
