Over 900 Families Fed

During the last week in November, Food For Greater Elgin served 143 families in a single day, for a total of 549 people at our pantry today and another 65 families at Elgin Manor. 

The Friday before Thanksgiving, we gave out 300 turkeys and Thanksgiving fixings. 

Altogether, we helped feed over 900 families in a single week. 

To all of you who gave of time and money: thank you!  At a time of year that is measured by having food, we got the job done!
